The Columbia 9-1-1 Advisory Committee is a statutory committee which requires representation from every private and public safety organization in the Columbia 9-1-1 district. Members of the Advisory Committee are appointed by the Columbia 9-1-1 Board of Directors. The members of the 9-1-1 advisory committee for Columbia 9-1-1 are the Police and Fire Chiefs for each community, the Sheriff, the Columbia County Road Department Director, the Emergency Management Coordinator for Columbia County and the Metro West Ambulance Company supervisor for the Vernonia Ambulance contract.
